I heard a quote once that said. Men don’t listen, they wait. I laughed because I resemble that remark. In some ways I still do.

Leaders must learn to listen to three things. Words that are said, the body language and physiology of the message and thirdly, the spirit or intent of what is said. A basic response reacts to what is said and how. A masterful response listens to the intent and spirit and explores that.

When we feel heard, unity remains a possibility even when we don’t agree. Leaders who listen hold open the doorway of connection & change 53 | 365
