Just before the end of 2020 we finished our Pilot Program for the Leadership Accelerator – we had such a great time with an extraordinary group of leaders.

As we bought the 6 session training into land we asked the group to share a bit about what they’d learnt, how they had changed and what they were looking forward to next in their leadership journey.

It was at this point Tessa stepped up and said “Having done this, I’m not just a better leader, I’m a better person!”

A better leader.

A better person.

A great result.

There’s something deeply magical about a person seeing that in themselves and also being able to voice it too. What was just as encouraging is the rest of our cohort saw it in her as well.

The depth of transformation, the personal conviction and the acknowledgement of others added up to a seriously good outcome for her, her workplace and everyone she now has the privilege of leading.

My mate Darren Hill says “If you want to become a better leader, become a better human.” 12 words that shifted the expectations we have of you and for you as we grow in our leadership together.

As you lean into the early stages of 2021 know that that’s what I want for you. To be a better leader and a better person.

We will all benefit from that.
